After several weeks of glorious warm weather to 17c, this week the north wind did blow and the temperature plummeted to below 10c. Thankfully no rain or snow flurries today, just a very cold northerly wind. This didn’t stop a few hardy characters heading to the river to celebrate the start of the season.

There have been reports of fish being caught on most of our beats, some, including mine all caught on a dry fly grannom.

Parking at Lower Bockhampton now has mirrors to help when exiting the new parking area.

To help getting in & out along some of beats that have high banks, ladders have been installed at various points along the river.
