The Club regrets to inform you that longtime Club Member David Lloyd has passed away following a difficult 4-month battle with heart and kidney failure.
His cheerful smile along the riverbank will make this season’s mayfly a little bit duller. He joined the Club in 2000 and enjoyed his fishing on the Frome.
Our deepest sympathies go out to David’s wife and family on the passing of a wonderful man.

After a tough 4-month fight with heart and kidney failure, our beloved David passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on Friday 10th May, surrounded by the love of his immediate family, listening to his favourite music and reminiscing about stories from his past.
David was a truly special man; a leader in business, a gentleman and also a beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather, full of intelligence and wisdom, loyalty, devotion, passion, good humour and kindness. He lived a full and amazing life with integrity, and was loved and respected by many people around the world who were lucky enough to know him. As a family, we will forever cherish a lifetime of memories with him.
We are all still coming to terms with his relatively sudden passing and will announce funeral arrangements in due course.
