November 2022 Work Party
We need lots of rain and over the last few days we have had exactly that, changing slightly the planned work party today. There was no in river work, instead we concentrated on cutting and clearing bank-side vegetation.
The work parties are open to all members and even if you can’t do anything too physical, it’s still worth coming along for the banter.
We finished up by the old fishing hut and made our way back for a well desired lunch.

The Club
The Club is a private one, founded in 1877, of approximately sixty-four members and six Town Rod subscribers. The Club’s waters consist of about 12 miles of wild brown trout & grayling fishing in the main River Frome, River Cerne and River Piddle, together with attendant carriers and side streams. The waters extend both above and below the town of Dorchester and the Club employs a part-time keeper.
