2025 First Cast Supper
There is to be a belated First Cast Supper on Friday 18th April at West Stafford Village Hall starting from 6.00pm.
It will be the same format as Chalkstream Meetings, bring your own food to share BUT we will have John Aplin`s firepit to cook any prime cuts, tomahawk steaks, venison or burgers that you might like to bring.
The Village Hall is fully booked until the 18th, so I can only apologise for the later event. At least, we can talk about what we have caught so far!
Bring your cash Raffle in aid of – Fishing for Schools
A donation of a prize would be great.

The Club
The Club is a private one, founded in 1877, of approximately sixty-four members and six Town Rod subscribers. The Club’s waters consist of about 12 miles of wild brown trout & grayling fishing in the main River Frome, River Cerne and River Piddle, together with attendant carriers and side streams. The waters extend both above and below the town of Dorchester and the Club employs a part-time keeper.
